Cookie policy
Last updated: October 21, 2026
Tripviator uses no advertising or analytics cookies. We only store in your browser what the app needs to work and to remember the preferences you choose. Third-party services that may use their own cookies (Google Maps) only load if you accept them.
1. What cookies and similar technologies are
Small pieces of data a website keeps in your browser to remember you between visits. Besides cookies there are similar technologies, such as the browser's local storage (localStorage), which is what Tripviator uses. The rules treat them alike, so we explain all of them here.
2. What we use
Everything below is technical or personalisation you choose, so it doesn't need your consent. It's stored on your device only.

3. Third-party services (optional)
If you don't accept it, everything still works: you can type the place yourself and you just won't see Google's suggestions or map. You can read how Google uses data at policies.google.com.
Route and world maps (MapTiler and Stadia Maps) and airline logos are downloaded from their servers, which receive your IP address, but they set no cookies.
| Service | What it's for | When it loads |
|---|---|---|
| Google Maps (Google LLC) | Searching places when you create an event and showing its location map. Google may set its own cookies. | Only if you accept "Third-party services" |
4. How to change your choice
Change it whenever you like from the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of the page. You can also clear stored data from your browser's settings, though you'll then have to sign in again.
